2017 Reading Challenge

My 2017 Reading Challenge

“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”

This year I challenged myself to read 52 books in 52 weeks. For inspiration I sought out a challenge on Pinterest and found this one by POPSUGAR and then chose my books. You may note that there are only 48 books listed here and my goal is 52. I opted to leave myself some room for spontaneity, and recommendations from friends. When I read books that aren’t on this list I will add them. I am also planning to review each book I read, so keep an eye out for those!

I’m tracking my progress in my bullet journal. IMG_20170722_124524706_HDR_picmonkeyed.

It looks like a bookshelf and I love it!

Another way I am tracking and sharing my progress is GoodReads.com : they also have an app which you can get here GoodReads App. GoodReads is a great network for readers. You can see books that your friends are reading, discuss and rate books, read reviews before you get started, enter for giveaways, and join discussions with your favorite authors. You can also track your completion of a book, so if you’re reading a digital copy and are afraid of losing your page, you can track it through the app or website. They also have a feature called bookshelves, so you can divide your to-read list into categories based on genre, or subject matter. I use this feature to group books that help with my research either for my book-in-progress, or this blog, or any other passion projects I might have going.
