Goodbye, For Now

Hey Readers.

It saddens me to say that I’m going to be taking a break from writing for a while. I’ve got a lot going on in my professional life that I really need to focus on. I hope this break will give me time to reignite my passions and get back on track with sharing my insights and passions with you! I’ve really enjoyed writing for you and connecting with you, but the focus has always been on finding your happy and self care and I’ve got to do whats best for me!

I wish you the best and this content isn’t going anywhere, so please continue to enjoy it.

Maybe one day we will meet again.

Bullet Journal Productivity and Motivation

Hey readers!

If you’ve been following along, you will know that a while back felt overwhelmed by the amount of work I was doing for Bullet Journal, and underwhelmed by my results and resulting productivity. I feel like it’s a human struggle to always be looking for greater motivation and greater productivity in our daily lives. We’re always so pressured to do so much, which is why self-care and productivity tools are so important these days. A couple of posts back, I did a review of daily and weekly layouts for my bullet Journal, as well as a monthly layout and tracker for my bullet Journal. Over the course of this series, we’ve talked about habit trackers and other ways that I track and try to boost my productivity because I know what works for me. I want to share with you some of these best practices. and a bit of background on how I chose which practices to use and how I decided what things worked and didn’t work for me. Continue reading

How To: Make a Diaper Cake

How To: Make a Diaper Cake

Hey Readers!

Are you surrounded by new babies? Because, I sure am! I don’t have any children myself, yet, but my friends are all having babies, and my husband has caught the fever, so I’m sure it won’t be too long now. That being said, I’m in no hurry to have my own, though I do enjoy the baby showers and snuggling the little ones. It’s all still so foreign to me. Children really are just small humans, with speech impediments and bladder control issues. I love getting to know each and every one of my friends kids, and I can not wait to watch them grow up into fully functioning adults. First one to call me Aunt, wins my love.

International Friendship Day

Hey Readers!

Today is a very special day. It is International Friendship Day. Lately my family has had a lot of changes. Well, not just lately. For the past few years, I have been shown, consistently, just how much my friends mean to me, and how much I mean to them. In the past year alone, two set of our friends had babies, one moved back into town and back into my life, another has saved my husband, and as a group we have all made a huge impact on our community and each other.

Highs and Lows

Hey Readers!

I am getting ready to complete my next 90 day goals and I was thinking a lot about where I was this time last year. Surprise, surprise right? Anyway, this got me thinking about the good and bad things that happened last year and since I’ve been feeling a little down lately since I’m not progressing the way I would like to I decided I would write out the highs and lows from last year. How to throw an Epic Dinner Party

Hey Readers!

Something I always love doing in the summer is hosting dinner parties! Whether you have outside space or not, it is a great way to get people together, in the midst of all the summer busy-ness, and really connect. It is also a great opportunity to introduce people whom you think would be an interesting match, and I don’t mean romantically, that that can work too. I have a few tips and tricks to hosting an epic dinner party, and keep the night sailing smoothly. Continue reading

Bullet Journal : Habit Trackers

Tracking Habits In Your Bullet Journal

Hey Readers!

We are five months into 2018. How are your “New Year’s Resolutions” going are you looking for new ways to beef up your self-improvement or progress, or just to feel like you have your shit a little more together? I know that feeling. When you look back over the changes, or lack thereof, of that last few months and wonder, what in the world have I been doing? It’s not the best feeling, but it’s not something you can give yourself too hard of a time over. Being the list queen that I am, I use my bullet journal to keep me on track, and not just by making lists. Professionals say it take 21 days to build a habit 90 to build a lifestyle. There is certainly a lot more that goes into it than simple habit repetition, but consistency is certainly key. Continue reading
